Your messages land in the recipient's inbox immediately, but they remain locked and blurred for seven days. The messages automatically unlock after the seven-day period, triggering an optional push notification to the recipient.
Easily address friends using contact suggestions, or use the specialized "future_me" contact to send reflective messages to yourself as a weekly ritual. Note: Sent messages cannot be recalled or deleted.
You can read all previously synchronized messages and compose new ones without a network connection. New messages will be auto-saved as drafts until you reconnect and choose to send.

WeekLater is built on a robust Firebase backend, employing strong authentication, including secure sign-in via Apple and Google, and security protocols to ensure your data and private messages are always protected.
